1 Payment Terms
1.1 The price shall be as advertised and paid in full 10 days before the commencement of the programme. Once the books and pack have been sent out, no refunds are available. We accept payment by cheque, cash and selected credit/debit cards.

1.2 By paying and attending the programme you fully accept these Terms and Conditions.

2 Alterations
2.1 MK Academy reserves the right to change the venue and any other arrangements of the programme by notice to you. In this event MK Academy will use its best endeavours to find comparable facilities in terms of cost, quality and location.

2.2 MK Academy may terminate this contract at its discretion at any time by giving 14 days notice in writing to you or shorter notice if due to illness or incapacity of MK Academy or any of its representatives.

2.3 In the event where MK Academy cancels the contract it shall refund all monies paid by you, except costs incurred on your behalf such as the IFS registration/examination fees, subject to the IFS refund policy.

2.4 MK Academy are not responsible for any reduction in the number of programme hours or the programme content caused by factors beyond its control, including failure to comply with the contract.

3. Transfers
3.1 There is no charge for transferring to an alternative programme date, provided the request is received 10 or more working days before the start of the programme.

4. Complaints
4.1 If you have any complaints or are dissatisfied in any respect with the programme you should raise these concerns immediately (and in any event within 24 hours) with MK Academy. Complaints should be made in writing to the programme director at MK Academy, 3 America Square, London EC3N 2LR or fax 020 7702 2400.

4.2 MK Academy will use its best endeavours to rectify any problems as soon as possible.

5 Cancellations
5.1 Cancellations received between 0–10 working days before the start of the programme are subject to cancellation fee of 100% of the programme and IFS fees paid to MK Academy.

Cancellations received between 11 – 20 working days before the start of the programme are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the programme fees paid MK Academy, except such costs incurred on your behalf such as the IFS registration/examination fees, subject to the IFS refund policy.

Cancellations received more than 21 working days before the start of the programme are subject to a full refund except such costs incurred on your behalf such as the IFS registration/examination fees, subject to the IFS refund policy.

5.2 If a participant fails to attend the programme, the full programme fees are payable.

5.3 In any event MK Academy shall use its best endeavours to minimise its costs on cancellation.

6 Conduct
6.1 MK Academy reserves the right to exercise its discretion to exclude delegates from continuing the programme, if they are found to be counter productive to the class. In such circumstance a pro-rated refund may be made to the delegate, this decision (which will be a final decision) will be entirely at the discretion of MK Academy. If such a refund is agreed it will be issued in 10 working days.

7 Your responsibilities
7.1 You are responsible for ensuring the security of your belongings and possessions while attending the programme and completing the home study as directed.

7.2 You shall appraise yourself of and abide by the safety procedures and regulations of the proprietors of the programme venue.

The following terms and conditions will apply to the MK Academy Monthly Prize Draw.

1. The competition is open to UK residents only.
2. The competition is only open to people aged 18 or over.
3. Participants must supply a valid email and postal address to participate.
4. Participants must supply full details as required by the entry form during the booking process. No responsibility is accepted for fraudulent entries.

7. Each Participant can enter only once.
8. The prize draw closes at mid-night (00.00) on the last day of every month.
9. The prize draw will be held on the 1st working day of every month and supervised by an independent person.
10. Notifying the winner: the winner will be sent an email providing further information about the prize and how to claim it on the second working day of every month. Winners will be required to confirm acceptance of the prize by replying to the email within 7 days of this date.
11. If a winner does not confirm acceptance of the prize within 7 days, they will automatically forego the rights to claim for the prize and a new winner will be chosen.
12. The names and county of the prize winner will be available by sending a stamped addressed envelope to MK Academy Ltd., Monthly Prize Draw, 3 America Square, London, EC3N 2LR
13. The decision of MK Academy Ltd. will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the prize draw.
14. The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any promotional activity following the competition.

The prize

1. The prize is £500 of MK Academy Ltd.Training Vouchers which can be redeemed against any MK Academy Home Study Online Training Course. All promotions are subject to availability and confirmation with MK Academy Ltd. No cash alternative or refund. No reimbursements for unused voucher amounts. Vouchers can be used against one Home Study Online course only and are valid for 6 months from draw date.
