The Certificate in Commercial Mortgages (CeCM) was introduced on the 1st March 2006. It is offered by the Institute of Financial Services (IFS) and is accepted nationally as the recognised qualification to give advice on commercial mortgages.

CeCM is a stand-alone module; it also counts towards the Advanced Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (Adv CeMAP) and the NALFB Diploma in Commercial Finance.
